Our Gardening Club and their teacher Sheila are always keeping busy. At the start of term they worked very hard to weed the flower beds in front of school .
Later they harvested potatoes, beetroots, carrots, onions and leeks. It was a very mucky job and all gardeners really enjoyed doing it.
They are also regularly using the staffroom for chopping, cooking and trying new dishes. So far they have tried roast potatoes with rosemary, apple and rhubarb crumble, vegetable soup and beetroot crisps. However, the crisps weren’t tasty at all…
